Doing Business with the US

The Victorian Government would like to invite you to our upcoming Doing Business with the US seminar in Geelong on 17 August.

The US is a major driver of the global economy and a world leader in international trade and investment. Victoria has a long history of engagement with the US and the Victorian Government has Business Offices in San Francisco, Chicago and New York.

Our key note speaker, Mr Brian Carnahan, is the Victorian Government’s Trade Director in San Francisco. Brian leads the Victorian Government trade and industry team delivering business opportunities for Victorian companies in the US, Canada and Latin America.

This event is a great opportunity to improve your understanding of the US market and to get an update on what Australian products and services are in demand. Brian will also provide advice on how you can overcome some of the challenges that are involved in doing business with the US market.

The event is hosted by Marcus Oldham Agricultural College and Dr Yasmin Chalmers, Director of Postgraduate Studies and Director of the Centre for the Study of Agribusiness, will give us a short presentation about the college and some of its programs.

After the presentations, a limited number of attendees will be invited to have a 15-minute, one-on-one, session with Brian to introduce themselves and their business. Please note in your RSVP if you would like to book one of these sessions -

Thursday, 17 August, 2017 -
10:00 to 11:30
